Razer To Sell Destiny-Licensed Gear

In a May 16th press release on the Activision Games Blog, Editorial Manager Kevin Kelley outlined the next wave of Destiny 2 partnerships.

In addition to the new Funko Pop! Collection, PC players will enjoy a new collection of peripherals from Razer—the wildly popular PC gaming company/cult. The peripherals designer will be unleashing a whole suite of their best gear, refashioned for Destiny. It includes:

Razer Ornata Chroma keyboard

Razer ManO’War Tournament Edition headset

Razer DeathAdder Elite mouse

Razer Goliathus Speed mouse mat

In the recent past, Razer has designed peripherals for a number of elite franchises, such as Overwatch, Star Wars, Tomb Raider and Call of Duty. With its coming to PC, Destiny will be expanding the community to a whole new playerbase, many of whom love Razer gear. It’s a well-timed and well-advised partnership for Activision.

Razer is also heavily involved in the eSport and Tournament scene, becoming a major sponsor and omnipresent staple of gaming pros across all gametypes. With Activision making eager steps towards eSports prominence--having purchased MLG--Razer is a natural fit for the brand. For the majority of us, playing casually from home, Razer gear just looks flat-out cool as hell.
